This shot is great, and do you know why? Because it came about by pure and UTTER chance. Nothing planned, nothing expected, and in fact the circumstances were rather negative!

I was giving a photo tour to my new photographer-friend Denise, and it was CHUCKING IT DOWN (raining like hell)! Not the ideal circumstances for a creative photo tour of Paris, you might be saying to yourselves... but Ah Hahhhhh! Given the enthusiasm and good spirit of a friendly soul such as Denise miracles can be performed!

The best photos always come about by chance. (You can quote me on that.) The only variables are: a) did you spot the opportunity, and b) did you have your camera with you?!!!
