a Drag
This is a funny kinda shot. It's
got the lamp slap-bang in the middle with the right side packed and the
left side empty. It's maybe not an ideal composition but for one thing I
didn't have much choice after the fact, and also I kind of like it.
There is the long shadow zooming out the the bottom left corner echoing
the girl's right crossed-over leg pointing out to the right.
I also like the unposed, 'reportage' feel to the shot, with the guy
taking a drag and the girl looking down.
And of course there is that classic, stunning view behind them, which is
a bit strange, because they are facing away from it! |
