A temporary sculpture exhibit caught my lens on the 'parvis de la Defense' this lunchtime. Big white polestyrine statures were swaying dangerously in the strong wind and a couple had already lost an appendage or two I noticed.

There was a pleasing poetry between the stark white statues full of roughly hewn curves and chunks, and the also stark white but this time perfectly geometrical lines of La Grande Arche de La Defense. Even the clouds chimed in to the symphony shapes and shade to give an interesting result.
